1. I read posts back in Sept. 2023 that VIP 722 receivers were still available. Why state for good reason? I have been happy with mine the last 6 years. 2. Yes, the EHD I am trying to use is not self powered, only powered from the USB port.

I just signed to get the 622 upgrade, but the person in tech support was telling me that there is a $6.00 a month lease fee? How do I get rid of that? I hope the only way was to buy the 622. Also Dish’s website says nothing about this when trying to upgrade online. Any thoughts?
