I am starting to rebuild the motor on my H to H mount, which only has an optical counter. I would like to eventually use a V-Box with this, which as you know, only supports a reed sensor. Is it possible to add optical capacity to a V-Box? I am hoping that it is as easy as adding a 12v DC output.

Working on getting the 2.4m Prodelin installed before winter. The polar mount is taking a lot of time and work. Will post some pictures when complete. The plastic cover on the feed-horn is torn and I would like to repair it. Anyone know where I can purchase a replacement? Thanks

The problem with using the V-Box in stand-alone mode, is that it assigns a number to each satellite. I can't remember which number corresponds to each satellite and I don't want to keep a paper around. A nice feature to add to the V-Box would be the ability to name the satellite (for example AMC 8).

Thanks Brian, I will give that a try. I didn't realize that the 22Khz setting had any effect if you didn't have a switch connected to it.
