There are no HD RSNs on spotbeams. Some are at 61.5 and some are at 129. This might be considered somewhat the same as being on spotbeam, though.

A funny semantics point about this press release: They aren't claiming to be "THE" leader, but "A" leader, as in in the front of most of the pack, which I think is true. They no longer have more than D*, but they are still beating the pants off most other providers. spin, spin, spin.

I have not heard anything other than speculation that NY would leave CONUS.

If that happens New York will loose 50% of its current "residents".
The 4 CONUS TPs that are being used for Boston, NYC, Phila and DC locals from 61.5 are too valuable. You can count on them going to spots. There is absolutely no need for them to remain CONUS since E* is forbidden (at least for now) from delivering DNS.

Sorry about that. E* blacks out all out of market games to simulate spotbeams then. Also, this may change when the spots on 61.5 are lit and Ciel-2 is in place at 129.

WTF? They had Tulsa on their list a long time ago...then removed it...now it doesn't even make this round of rollouts?

D* has had Tulsa Locals for a while in HD. I've been a Dish customer for over ten years but I am now getting tempted to switch. Thank god my antenna I installed in the attic is getting me all my channels for now.

E* is not blacking out games for fun. Someone or something requires them to do this as this creates more work for them.

I wonder what else is in that list of 65 markets...they only list 11.

Don't get too over joyed....Buffalo was suppose to get the HD Locals last year too.
Forced from Dish and Soon Time Warner Cable to get my hometown Buffalo Sabres Games. Looks Like I will be using Rabbit Ears with Tin Foil and a Transistor Radio

Why don't all you E* customers that are complaining and threatening to leave go and ahead and switch.

Maybe if enough of you switch those of us that intend to stay with E* will start seeing some results.
