MAY be another option. I've been playing with a little gizmo that someone passed along to me gratis (no, I'm not affiliated with the company that sells or makes this in any way at all).
In my limited testing, this dude sends both the audio and video a good ways with excellent picture and audio quality. Installation was a few minute job.
I'm playing with it on an FTA receiver and currently have it running in one of my rigs set up at an orphanage in Baja MX - has been in place for about 2 weeks now without a problem. Sending about 30' +/- to an upstairs room. If it sends FTA, should send D or E as well - but I have not tested that.
Might be an alternative to hardwire and crawling through the attic - but I'm still testing so info is FYI only (no endorsement yet, but I'm getting close!). Link below.
