TV Week is reporting that ABC has announced fall pickups for frosh shows, and renewals of its major hits.
As networks look toward the return of a normal television season for the fall, ABC Entertainment has officially picked up nine series for the 2008-09 season.
Among the series gearing up for a new year will be veterans “Brothers & Sisters,” “Desperate Housewives,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Lost” and “Ugly Betty.” Among the rookie crowd, the Disney-owned network is planning sophomore seasons for dramas “Dirty Sexy Money,” “Private Practice” and “Pushing Daisies,” as well as sitcom “Samantha Who?”
