I said "dual" in the title, maybe "double" is the better term ... What do you guys recommend? I haven't used the DVD DL format before, so need some advice ...

You are using a standalone recorder? I use DL's with my pc's with pretty good success, but haven't tried them in my old Panasonic...

Yes, standalone recorder (not a PC). Would love to use dual layer double sided DVDs but looks like those are pretty rare.

Never heard of double side recordable blank DVDs. Can you drop an URL to that place ?
