I am on the lookout for a new subwoofer, probably in the entry- to mid-level range. I have an old Klipsch 10 incher that has started to crackle a bit... It is over 10 years old. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I've got one of these, easy to assemble and sounds great, although I do have a large room.

Thanks for the replies. I did a ton of research and listened to a few -- and ended up getting a cheap Polk PSW505 on Amazon. Just hooked it up this week, and it's working great. As with anything else I'll be tweaking it quite a bit over the next several months as it breaks in and I get used to having a subwoofer that actually seems to work.
Thanks!
