Hi -

I currently am stuck in a 2-year dish contract. I discovered the day of install that Dish doesn't work with Tivo - this ruined my year! I have now been offered FREE basic cable along with High Speed Internet from Comcast so here's the question: is there any way to run Dish to the entire house EXCEPT the master bedroom where I want to receive basic cable so I can use Tivo as more than a VERY expensive paper weight? Thank you for any help you can offer.

Yes. Just disconnect the coax cable that goes to the master bedroom from the dish setup. And split your internet Comcast line and then connect one output of the splitter to the cable modem and the other output to the master bedroom Tivo. This is the splitter that you need.
