This forum is for discussion of HD DVD hardware and software. It is primarily for those who have already decided on their prefered HD format and just want to enjoy it. No war fights should be held here.

If you are still undecided, or if you wish to discuss the benefits of one format vs. another, please take your discussion to our War Zone (http://www.satelliteguys.us/forumdisplay.php?f=140) forum created specifically for that purpose.

I would like to get that. I had the one from NBC recorded and then my HD-Tivo crapped out on me.

You know I had a thread on that and we really ran it down... but it grew on me after I bought the Dvd because of DTS, The True HD sound ought to rock...

Do you have a receiver that can decode True Dolby HD? Most can't.

Probably not, It has 5 inputs Front, Surround and Center which I feed from my HD D1's like outputs... It sounds better to me than using the toslink or coax sound outputs...

where can i dl movies from and what proggy will i need to burn them withAre you talking about legal HD DVD downloads (authorized by the copyright holders)? If so, there are none that I am aware of, for major titles anyway (someone will correct me if I am wrong). Would it even make sense, taking into account the price of the blank media?

If you are talking about illegal downloads, such discussions are not allowed in this forum, and you can get banned if you continue.
