Give me RaveTV (http://www.voom.tv/ravehd.html) on the high-definition VOOM Networks any day of the week over MTV. That's where you will find real music television these days. If you don't yet have it, demand it.

Actually, the comparison should be RaveHD to MHD. I like them BOTH.

Same here, I enjoy seeing Videos for a change and not just concerts...and they have a mix of country thrown in...

I'll take RaveHD anyday over MHD. But I'm happy to have both.

Just a few differences, Rave has "0" commercials, it is a non-commercial service. Rave does not play videos because, as I have said before, there are very few videos in HD. The majority of MHD's videos are SD upconverted to fuzzy HD. You may like the music viceos, but let's be honest, it's not HD. ALso check out the overall picture quality. Rave's picture is far better. Many MTV programs look like bad conversions. They may be HD, but if they are shot in Europe they are shot on a different HD format which needs conversion. MTV's conversions suck. Rave also has a lot more hours of programming and they have country too. I pick Rave. I work in the music business, so I know this stuff.

LER, look at the link Sean was referring to, he meant RAVE and MHD.

I really don't watch much of either. MHD hasn't made much of an impact on my HD viewing. Neither has RAVE.

Check out Little Big Town and Lindsey Buckingham tonight on cross roads ... it rocks... and the PQ is very good.

Seen it. I'm pretty sure that one was shot in 24p, which works in HD. It's a good show, Rave also had Lindsey Buckingham.

Lots of the programming on MHD is in DD 2.0. Sounds kind of flat at times.

THANKS FOR VISITING!
