movies in HD this weekend? If so, how did they look. They were on different channels (Spike, TNT & TBS)

King Kong looked and sounded good on TNT, But looked better on TBS from Direct, did not check the dish versions... Star Wars looked very good from SpikeHD also...

Recorded LOTR trilogy, inspite of the commercials, and it looked good -- but not as good as I think it could look.

I think when it makes it to BD, that's when I'll become a blu-boy. Probably the only trilogy that could make me purple. :)

King Kong looked better on TBS on Dish also, but TNT was pretty good.

IMO, on Dish, King Kong looked better and sounded better in Dolby 5.1 on TBS than on TNT.

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is on this weekend on TNTHD Staring with Fellowship of the Ring at 8 pm Friday and continuing Saturday and Sunday same time with the other two movies...
