Just saw a commercial on VoomHDNews that advertised a new Voom movie channel starting May 1, 2008.

So, it is not a new channel, but just a name change from "World Cinema" to "HD Movies".

Probably good marketing move, though.

It also allows them a place to show HD movies that are neither foreign nor indie...

It is not an 'additional' channel; as World Cinema is going away, but it is a new channel.

Look for Rocky I - V in June on this channel.
