pretty good. i barely post over there but i do read what is posted at dbs. My personal opinion is that D's HD is still better quality than E's HD. That's just what i see and not a fact whatsoever.Just my opinion.

On the subject of PQ I have found something that I find interesting. Just this past weekend, I replaced my H20-600 with a HR22-100. I put that on the TV where I had my HR20-700. The HR20-700 was moved to where I had my H20. After watching TV on my HR22 for a couple of day and after having used the HR20 on the same TV for nearly 2 years, I honestly believe that the HR20 produces a sharper picture than the HR22. Incidentally, I find the HR22 (which is based on the HR21) not to be as responsive as my HR20. I know there have been arguments about how fast the boxes are but maybe the people who complained all had HR21s and the people (like me) who said the response time was acceptable had HR20s.

I still read dbstalk too but I've stopped posting over there all together. The lemming mentality over there got more than I could take after the underwhelming D* HD roll out last month.

The warzone here gets far worse than that sometimes...lets not patronize ourselves...at least those guys have a sense of humor when their provider is critiqued...here people track you down from thread to thread if you dare speak out against thier great provider...

I mainly started this because I thought THAT thread was funny, and for the most part it isnt any worse than the W/Z posts here (on par perhaps?). However, that post was worse than anything any of us have posted here in a LONG time.

Anyway, like I said, just thought the thread as a whole was humorous, just passing it on.

I'm just saying the <portion deleted> negotiation tactics of the loud minority around here are comparable to virtually anything you can cherry-pick out of that thread, and that we shouldn't think so highly of ourselves in this regard as to point fingers at others. Myself included.

I agree Rey. Anyone can say or BE anything on the net. In many cases, in real life, its the total opposite.
