Looks like Direct WILL be adding Comedy Central HD this month (probably this week).

Good to see. I think we will see a trickle out of channels this go round, rather than the sudden massive additions of the past, and that is fine with me

Think maybe that's the "nature of the beast"?.:rolleyes:

First two channel adds go to Direct.

I think Direct will continue this slow add trend most of the year, adding 1 to a few channels each month. Whereas Dish will probably do one or two really big adds. This will bring both providers totals up and pretty much the same by the end of the year.

I guess it will be a next...next thread now

That's surprising thought DirecTV was adding them(HD locals) faster than Dish.:confused:

DirecTV is and has been adding them quicker than Dish Network, but it seems like Dish is going to play some MAJOR catch-up in the first week of February.

Just like both times they added multiple channel at once. He likes to bragg when he really has something coming. Well All I've seen is Rumor like usual. And not a peep from E*. I'm not doubting E* will launch these channels, But I doubt Charlie is going to release these channels and not bragg about doing it at least 2-4 weeks before hand.

But you do have over 25 HD PPV and plenty of HD RSN's with the same programming 90% of the time on them. Great!

Think that directly relates to my post above.But in another sense there is over 150 HD channels just not the ones everyone expected.;)

But when D* get's the HD channels they are getting them as in HD locals and Comedy Central HD.;)
