At home & cooking myself, if I had to assemble a favorite all time meal, I would probably make this....

BBQ Baby Back Ribs smoked for 4 hours at 225°F
Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill's Southwestern Potato Salad (http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/bobby-flay/mesa-grills-southwestern-potato-salad-recipe2/index.html)
Baked Beans
Homemade Cornbread
Grilled Peach Cobbler

All washed down with a few Belgian Wheat Ales.

Oh......... almost forgot a close 2nd for my all-time favorite meal:

Brined corned beef and cabbage with herbed root vegetables. I have this meal 1 day out of the year so I don't spoil myself from this special day.... St. Patrick's Day!

This one is tough. So many favorites. One look at me and you know I love to cook and eat!

For the main part I'm a meat 'n' potatos kinda guy, but every once in a while I love to whip up something a bit exotic, so my entry here is...Coquilles St. Jacques...served on a bed of mashed potatos in a scallop-shaped dish. Here's a recipe for the main part:

If I'm eating out Chicken Fried Steak with either pan fries, or mashed potatoes and either brown or cream gravy is a mainstay... Best meal of all time is a tough one, but a recent stop at Brazil de Texas stands out... ;)

Chicken fried steak with MP and white/sausage gravy is a favorite of mine! Even regular fried steak for that matter. I've tried to make the latter at home with no real luck...

Filet Mignon (rare) and Maine lobster, any day, any week, any year. BBQ ribs are a very close second.

No, never tried fufu but now I'll make sure I do! My love of Latin cuisine was cultivated by working 6 years with a consulting company that had many off-shore software partnerships with companies in Venezuela and Columbia. We had a lot of business meetings in Miami where I learned a great deal of Cuban and Dominican cuisine as well.

To this day, I do not know what won me over more...the food itself, or the enthusiasm by which it was shared! :)

These days, my cousin's wife is from Panama, so I can still indulge in patacones (as opposed to tostones...lol ;) ) from time to time. :)
