Hi everyone it is official on March 20th starz on demand goes live on channel 287 i am so excited i just thought i would pass along the news!!!!!!:D

Maybe that's why the guide is showing that Sundance is now on channel 179.

It's nice to have on demand, but it would be even better to have that, plus HD service from Starz.

i noticed that the other night. i took advantage of the add and watched a few programs that i miss due to having multiple recordings on certain nights, during the week, at the same time. its a nice service.

i always thought that starz hd was a major part of the bargaining chip to get starz on demand?

From what I'm hearing is that the Starz HD channels will be coming for most BHN customers including Central Florida and Tampa. The bad news is that the Starz On Demand will be coming before the HD channels. I've also been told that Starz HD On Demand will also be available via HD Showcase On Demand at no extra charge for Starz customers. This also will be coming before the Starz HD channels though.

I've been waiting quite a while for Starz On Demand so I'm happy to see this coming. I'm hearing Tampa will have Starz on Demand in early April.

If so, it didn't happen. Starz On Demand is active right now on channel 287 for Orlando Market.

Sorry but I haven't heard anything about Encore On Demand coming at all. Also Starz HD On Demand "will not" be added via the Showcase On Demand HD channel. When Starz HD On Demand is added it will be under the HD section within the Starz On Demand channel itself.

Also Starz On Demand was added on channel 270 within the Tampa Bay Area.

Has anyone noticed the video quality is not the same as the other premium on demand channels? Why is that? Is it a bright house issues or is it how they get it?
