I bought a DCH 3416 on Craigslist. How do I get it activated on Comcast?

It will make a great doorstop. Comcast doesn't sell its DVRs. They will not activate it because it belongs to them and it is stolen. Now, if you are willing to pay the monthly rate, they will activate it. You could have gotten them to supply you with one for free....
