Brighthouse in the Central Florida division is adding 20 new HD channels. Their doing a little game of course on the way to the roll out.

I don't know much about it. You can get more information

How many of the 20 are in the standard + digital tier (i.e., not in the premium addons)?

the yankee and nets games will be blacked out unless you have the appropriate sports sub. i believe yankeeography is also blacked out. otherwise, i think the other programs are available.

But what else is there on YES that makes it worth it over having a different channel?

i don't think center stage is blacked out. when mike and the mad dog was on, that wasn't blacked out. mike's new show isn't blacked out. i don't watch yes much on directv other than a yankees game (mlb ei package) every now and then.

In all honesty, I have no idea. I didn't look into it. I dont have HD anything so it really didnt peak my interest. Sorry.

All new stations are in the central Florida market, Orlando- Daytona area.

FROM MY EXPereince with YES INT HE PAST they showed college games (football and basketball) also,,in particular big east games and well ivy league games and sometimes other conferences as well
