Been following the Intern with Tourette's he has had on air the last few days... (can't wait for the dating game) he sounds like Bobcat to me... funny stuff ;) and Artie's back...

I listen to them every once in a while in the morning if they have something good on. I never really saw why he was say "awesome", just an okay show to me. Preferred the Bubba show when it was exclusively on satellite and not syndicated radio. At least they have the Friday shows to do what they want to do now. I wish Sirius would pick them back up full time again...once you get into the show and understand the language of things you're hooked.

I listen every day. I stream on Shoutcast and also other methods. Sirius themselves just made it too hard to remain an actual subscriber.

If he ever made a paid podcast I would be all over that.

Pete's "Purple Rain" was pretty darn good, considering the environment he performed in.

I listen for my short ride in every morning. I get pissed about how much vacation he and his crew gets. It seems like they get a week off every month or so. I am hooked on Mad Dog Radio. They have a new morning show that I love to listen to.

I record him everyday and listen the next day on my mp3 while at work. He takes a lot of time off, but you have to admit when he is there he does a great show. I feel just I get my money's worth just by listening to his show. The more you listen the more you hear.

Just about everyday. If Howard leaves I would drop Sirius as there's nothing else there that comes close to being worth the subscription fee.

No, I don't have to admit it! ;) For me, he holds no allure anymore. Back in the WOR days he was entertaining, but his act is very old for me, now.

Howard would not bother me since I find myself bored most of the time when I switch over. But on the other hand if they axed Bubba on 101 there is no point in keeping my Sirius as there are other ways I can listen to music in my car.

Tuned into Howard recently. I was like taking a time machine back to 1995. Still cajoling porn stars to show their tits.

Robin cackling in the background, adding nothing of value to the show.

Some things never change.

I disagree.

I lived and grew up in NY and started listening to Howard in 1986 while working a summer job during High School. Listened every morning until 1995 when I moved from NY with a job transfer.

Tuned in recently and nothing has changed, other than Jacking being gone from the show.

Their are innumerable actors, musicians and other entertainers, including radio, who have evolved over the course of their long careers, Howard has not. Still doing the same thing and it seems to work for him.

Admittedly, what entertained me when I was 16, Howard, fart jokes, stealing beer from my parents, cruising in my 73 Duster, fake IDs, are no longer are my cup of tea.....

To each his own, don't take offense that I don't find him entertaining any more.

Retitled... I listen to Howard a lot going to and coming from work, when he is good, he is pretty good and has great insights on many things... but he does still have the juvenile humor and his "packs" prank phone calls are very old an annoying... when they start that or Howard goes off on Leno I go to something else...

I still listen regulary to he show, but like alot of people, there are certain aspects/people/guests that come on appear on the show, that is just used up/dead entertainment that forces me to change channels, or FF(THANK G*D! for the Stilleto)

1. Porno stars/ or any girl who is going to get naked. Now, if I had a job where I could have naked women basically throwing themselves at me and doing what I told them to do, I would have them in nearly everyday as well, but the joke/idea is so OLD and OVERDONE that I have to skip it. It is just bad/lazy radio IMHO at this point. But like I said, if it was me and my job, I would doo it too and screw everyone else.

2. Joan Rivers and Jessica Hahn. Talk about two USELESS GUESTS/PEOPLE at this point. Especially Joan Rivers. Completely FF when I know she is going to be on, which is way, way too much. If this was 1989, then it would be great, but not at this point. Time to let these two just go.

Those, and the fact the Howard DOES take way too much vacation time, are my biggest complaints, but for the most part, the show is still funny to listen too, especially for someone who has been listening for a long time.

I would still like to see him re-up a new deal, but I doubt he will. He may just be completely done at this point in life.

He will be 59 years old at the end of the year, 2010, and most people do begin to think about retiring at that point in life.

Another vacation?

This is part of the problem with Howard. He is becoming like Carson did at the end of his career. He wants top dollar for his services, but wants to work only 3 days a week, and also have like 12-14 weeks off for another couple $100 million/year.

It just financially makes no sense for Sirius to do that, so I think he is gone come Jan. 2011.

Things could change though. It would not shock me if he stayed, or started his own internet streaming radio show to be viewed VOD/PPV per year/month/semi-annually/etc.... since ALL of the profits made from it would go to him.

I know my sirius subscription is done if Howard goes. The music is just too repetitive to make it worthwhile, I'd be better served with an MP3 player into my car stereo.

I really enjoy the history of howard, and the old best of shows they play when they're on vacation, so i don't mind them taking time off.

the only time I change the station is when eric the midget talks for more than two minutes. I can't take him whatsoever.
