Over the next year they will add a lot of WBs/PBSs etc. They have to get another 25% of the markets they carry in HD to have all the channels in the market HD. The first 25% was pretty easy when there were a ton of small markets with only the big 4. I suspect now all the markets with just +1 or +2 more channels will get added to make the 2010 quota.

This should be VERY easy to do on the 129 HD markets. Most of the time each market has a TP to itself. Plenty of room in there especially with some of the HD channels in the market having low bitrates to begin with a few subchannels thrown in their OTA mux.

WB network is not doing well finacially. I would be surprised to see it go under or sold in a year or two. CW hd is another story. Bring it on to my neck of the woods!!

Most former UPN and WB stations became either the CW or MyNetwork TV.

I suspect the biggest hold up right now is fiber backhaul. They have the TP space, and the secondary channels probably do not want to charge at all for their carriage, they want the eyeballs.
