Anchorage AK has PBS HD too.

MNTV is in HD on Dish in Philadelphia, San Francisco, Atlanta, Seattle, Denver, Sacramento, and Kansas City.

In Denver, MyTV (KTVD 20) was activated over the summer. This was done because the NBC affiliate (KUSA 9) owns the MyTV station and runs their newscasts in HD on that channel at 9 PM Mountain Time.The also run Denver Bronco games which air on ESPN or NFL Network so not to pre-empt NBC programming. As for PBS, there are some smaller markets (abput six or so) which their PBS station was uplinked in HD.

Channels 597 and 815 should both now be Hidden from non subs like 809

597+815 were on a one week preview and now that has ended and they are hidden, prior to the preview for the last week they were never hidden from non subs so maybe that is why you didnt catch the change.

There are 4 FTA channels on ciel 2 conus TP 32 in QPSK/MPEG2, one is shopnbc but the other 3 are either asian internationals or ethnic locals from california or something. Been there a couple weeks and no one has mentioned anything, I guess TP32 @ 129 is being used for testing or temp services.

Oh i didnt say it had anything to do with Viacom.I meant that some of the hd channels that we currently get are pretty much garbage.They show very little hd content.Example being CENTRIC....

Just relax. Stuff changes package flags all the time. It's been there forever, and if you were supposed to be getting it, you probably would be.

Every once in a while, DISH blows it and a bunch of people won't get something that was supposed to be turned on. You'll hear about it...don't worry.

The uplink report is a report of changes of the uplink, not as in what is uplinked. If you want to know what is uplinked check TheList link in my signature for everything that is uplinked.

They shifted the channel package designation for that channel. Most of the time you see this on channels going in and out of free preview.

I have a question about the above. Until 11/11, 597, Record TV, was on preview mode and I was able to watch it. After this uplink, I can no longer watch it, which I was expecting if it was a one-week preview. But what I wasn't expecting is that ever since, I cannot "see" channel 597 not even when I select "All Channels" in the Guide Menu - does that mean that, for whatever reason, my satellite dishes that point to 61.5W can't "see" this ConUS?
