I would say yes; it seems all recent MRV CEs require same CE version to be compatible, but I've yet to see that in writing.

Yes all units must have the same version on them to run MRV. So update the all tonight.

I thought the same thing until last week. I only updated one of my boxes to the new CE on Friday. MRV still worked fine in both directions. I updated the second on Saturday.
My guess is if there are not big changes in code it will still work. Maybe within a week or two of each other. Or...my scenario was a fluke...
What is going on is that around 5-6 times since they started the mrv program some months ago, they've changed the protocols such that all boxes had to be on the same CE. Sometimes that protocol stuck for a few weeks or months before they changed it again and once again required every box to come up to the minimum.
So sometimes you had to have them all on the same version, sometimes they could be on different ones as long as they were on the same internal rev of mrv code/protocols.
I think they changed it either last week or the week before, since people with older ce's couldnt mrv with the new ones. Not sure what they did this week since they dont tell us anything.
