Ok I just got a brand new DSR 905 receiver. Hooked it up to my dish, and moved it over to G1-3. I switched to analogue and bang, the green light popped on. after about 30 minutes I checked back it had loaded al the additional satellites.

When I looked at the channels on G1 several channels like 3, 6, 18 said this is a digital channel and there is no programming but channel 100 and up ( I assume these are the real digital channels) simply said still searching for channel.

When I went to W5 it didn't say anything about y andigital channels. and none of the channels on any sats. had a name associated with it.

Any insight? Help!

On the 905, the virtual channels 1-24 are not analog. It says something like "digital carrier channel". It sounds as though it's not fully mapped in yet.
