highly unlikely they would do an uplink on a Friday...they still have ot change the names of the chanenls and make sure they are working before turning them over to customers

These are only uplinked on 61.5. Do these match the temp hd on 129? Or do they need to add these to that sat.?

There is no channel range on those for 129 so they are on 61.5 only right now

edit: there are 13 TMP channels listed as MPEG4 HD on 129 but different channel range

Scott earlier when you gave the list of hd channels testing you wrote that you thought epix sd was coming this week. Is there something suggesting its coming? And also one of the channels called Sportman I beleive its the Sportsman channel, but I didn't know that was in HD yet.

This just doesn't make sense. You would think they would put test channels on 72.7 where they had room to play. They just fired up 5 full 8PSK transponders there to toy around with. I wouldn't look too much into this guys.

I (we) will remember VOOM for as long as we live. I was the start of our Home Theater construction. An investment that was well worth it many time over!

Thanks...keep an eye on them for us. I was going to swing my 91 over to 61.5 for a couple of days to check out the bitrates. 9 HD's on one 40 megabit pipe is not going to be pretty.

I count 9 transponders. Are you subtracting those already on, or am I completely out to lunch?

I speculate that they are stressing the power on E3 (and E12?) to see what's still usable on these aging birds. They just lost TP18 as I recall.

My problem is I can't understand plain English. I think I'll delete my previous post which was pretty much devoid of merit. :(

No prob... I get confused myself keeping things straight sometimes.

Just an FYI, the uplink report notes the number of changes in the report. I consider a change as each line of the uplink report. Which would be a transponder change, channel change, etc. Now sometimes there will be multiple changes on one line but that is still counted as one line. For instance a channel number could change from 5000 - TMP2 (MPEG2 SD) (NA), to 5000 - ABCHD (MPEG4 HD) (A), technically that is more than one change, but since I have it condensed on one line it is only counted as one change. At least that's what the code is designed to do...as I really haven't seen a change like that happen all at once ;)

So instead of 8 channels per TP, we'll soon have 9 maybe 10? :eek:

I've seen no evidence of them testing more than 8 HD channels on one transponder.

On further review, it looks like there might be 9 HD channels on Transponder 31 at 61.5°.
