It is very sad and tragic news and prayers are sent to all those effected by this horrific event.

But what about the millions of homeless and unemployed in our own country? Shouldn't we focus on our own backyard first and try to make our own country strong again.

I'll bet the poor people of Haiti would be delighted to swap places with the homeless and unemployed of this country. Help shouldn't stop at a border.

if i can afford to buy dishes,receivers,big screen tvs ,i'm sure as heck can afford to help the relief.
