I want to know if it's possible to use the motorolla v3 razor as a modem for internet on a laptop.
i have a unlimited data plan from my cell phone carrier. my carrier is Ntelos.

Do you have the original RAZR V3? If so, you'll need to get a copy of Motorola's PhoneTools (http://www.avanquest.com/USA/software/motorola-phone-tools-116586?meta=pc-utilities&cat=communication-tools-network-tools&sub=fax-telephony-sms). I used to use MTP with my ThinkPad and RAZR years ago. It wasn't very fast, though.

You can check here (http://mptlookup.avanquest.com/) to see if your phone is supported.
