Yep and their TMP names match with the ones uploaded 2 weeks ago in the 94xx range. The only ones that are missing in the Latino range are:

You could have asked me last week if we were going to have any HD channels and I would have said no. All the pieces weren't together on the puzzle yet.

I correlated the Dish Latino Max HD channel numbers with the previous uplink:

5306 = Fox Soccer Channel HD

5308 = BBC America HD

5316 = QVC HD

5322 = E! HD

5326 = Hallmark HD

5370 = Epix HD

5373 = Encore Indie HD

5374 = Encore Retro HD

Outdoor Channel HD and Tru HD seems to be unavailable for Dish Latino.

Of course, OLYM1, 2 and 3 are Winter Olympics channels.

The FSC web site link indicates that February 10th is the likely date for New HD to be made available, btw. (See threads in Dish Network Forum on FSC)

I'm not sure about QVC HD but the new channels should be turned on between now and the next Charlie chat. SOON is getting pretty close it looks like.

I think the reason they've taken so long to turn these channels on is they want to make sure they get the bugs worked out and have very few technical diffulties as possible when these are launched.

On QVC-HD I am hearing that video is now live (but not available to customers) on channel 9447. (TMP58)

Also EPIX HD also is up and running with video but again not available to customers at this time.

Anyone have an idea what one will have to subscribe to get Encore Indie HD and Encore Retro HD?

I'm willing to bet that all will be made available on February 10th.

The leak by Fox would not have been reversed if it were only one channel.

If only FSC-HD were being launched on 2/10, then Dish would welcome an early announcement, because it would prevent churn of soccer fans.

However, the Marketing guys want to bundle it all together for a big splash ("Dish adds 10 new HD channels !"), and did not want to dilute the impact with leaks.

Anyone have an idea what one will have to subscribe to get Encore Indie HD and Encore Retro HD?

Starz, like it is required to get Encore HD? AEP or Encore pack? Something else?

Such as BBC World News ?

(and other shows which were not on BBC-HD)

I'm willing to bet that all will be made available on February 10th.

The leak by Fox would not have been reversed if it were only one channel.

If only FSC-HD were being launched on 2/10, then Dish would welcome an early announcement, because it would prevent churn of soccer fans.

However, the Marketing guys want to bundle it all together for a big splash ("Dish adds 10 new HD channels !"), and did not want to dilute the impact with leaks.

Thats the date I am guessing (and hoping for) also.... :)

And for the most part it will coincide with Dish's new pricing plan for receivers.

Well, except for some moves so us 61.5/110/119 people can get the channels.

I sincerely hope Epix, Indie and Retro are in Platinum. Otherwise, I'm only getting the E! channel with my AT100.

Yes, but with Dish you never know, especially if they are thinking of phasing Absolute out.

I wish Satguys would start a "why isn't channel X included with Dish Absolute?" thread.

Because Dish believes they are paying too little, and they are trying to nudge them away from it.

I agree - how can one get Euronews currently?

I thought Euronews was like 2 bucks a month but you needed 118.7 (they wouldnt activate it on 61.5 only)?

With the failure rate of transponders on E3 at 61.5 I would not be surprised if they decide that this is not a valid configuration any more, and start requiring people to upgrade to full EA or full WA for all the HD channels. Dish still has not filed to move anything over to 61.5 to help out.

I'm getting Euro News 900 and 901 as well as Euro Channel 604 (KINOE) with Bronze100+DVR+HD as of Feb 4.

Not to mention the addition of HISTI (121), BIO HD (119), and ID (192).

Scott so there is no hope of getting ESPNU HD any time soon or what. Is there still a lawsuit Against ESPN from E* because no one has heard anything about it in a long time!!! Thought it was over when ESPNU sd got moved to a lower tier!!!!!

I guess it did not take long with the filing of moving E6 to 61.5. I guess they get a breather.

charlie just turn on the hd channels now and quit playing games this is getting old waiting until the 10th or the next charlie chat this is bullsh**.just get all the hd channels out there that is available turn them on and promote the hell out of it.dont pick and choose what you want charlie.people on this forum have been demanding espn u hd for a long time and have you got it yet? no!get it put it up turn it on.seems to me charlie dont care about sports channels.this would be great we have superbowl weekend and wouldnt it be nice id charlie would turn on the channels that we know are coming and turn on even more that he may be waiting to turn on later in the year,charlie get with get all te hd out there and may us your customers happy, you may not have enough space u there that is ok but quit downrezzing the quality of the picture.i see its getting worse on the channels.turn the channels up to the best rez going and keep it there.charlie ask your customer what they want you to put up in hd.bustomer are what keeps you in business s start asking us and getting our input or you will drive away customer to your competitors direct tv,cable and soon to be x stream hd.me ill wait and see how the people on here say about it before i get x stream hd

not yelling at you i'm yelling at charlie.i have wrote him a letter,e-mailed him and called in to dish and complained about this...these waiting games with charlie is getting old in getting hd.i give direct tv credit they tell there customers when they are getting new channels and its that day when we get up in the morning not at night like charlie likes to do.wouldn't it be nice if charlie would have the channels on in the morning instead of waiting till the end of the day?at least direct keeps communications wit their customers.the only thing keeps me with dish is their dvrs.if direct gets better dvrs i'm gone from dish or even if x stream turns out to be good hopefully not like voom was.glad i have no commitment left with dish and wont be getting into one.

HD channels, and Dish Network is launching another
satellite in March that should be working to add more
HD channels by the end of May
