Wow.:D They should just leave the channel name "ITV" so that they don't have to worry about changing it every week.
If fou go forward in the guide to next Monday, the next interactive ad is for Burger King.

Dish also scrambled all the channels that they use to have in the clear today
This included the slates that said "you are on 61.5, 110 or 129", NASA and Angel One.
I dont know if previously subbed receivers can get these but FTA boxes can no longer get them. They show as scrambled :(
I thought they were FTA so that installers could install the dishes

Do you think installers carry FTA receivers with them?

Dish also scrambled all the channels that they use to have in the clear today Oh man that sucks. :( How about 101 or the Hawaiian music channel? I bought a Twinhan DVB-S card for the music, but before I got my TSREADER act together, it all went black other than that one channel.

no I thought the receiver tuned on those channels so that the dish could be positioned for the receiver to receive a authorization hit

They may be fixed key which means that any receiver can see them. But there was a difference for the free to air folks
Nasa, Angel One, Dish 101, and the "you have a dish pointed at _____" were all in the clear/unencrypted so a free to air receiver could see them. For a while Ion was also ITC.
I thought the agreement for Dish to carry Nasa was it had to be unencrypted but I guess not.
There is a difference between unscrambled/in the clear and what I would call fixed key.
examples
-CCTV9 is fixed key. If the receiver has the new card you can view it
-those knockoff shopping channels too work the same way
They show as scrambled on a FTA receiver.
