HDNews is carrying it tonight. 9PM EST Channel 100

All of the news stations usually use a pool camera so I don't know if it will be true HD.

Local ABC and CBS is carrying it as well in HD.

ABC=Better PQ and Audio.

HDNEWS= PQ lesser than ABC. Audio sucks.

CBS= PQ worse than SD. Also pillboxed and cropped.

Go GWB!!!!

Give 'em hell!!!!

Somehow to me it looked like an upconvert.

Did you notice how the cameras switched between HD and SD? The hallway (handheld?) shots were SD.

The PQ was much better on CBS (OTA) than it was on HDNews. The closeup shots weren't bad, but there was quite a difference when scanning the crowd...looked faded and blurry.

We don't get OTA here, period. So we miss that whole side of the "Voom experience" including the new DMA maps, etc. We have to go to cable if we want locals. :(
