red satellite mean no sat signal on that channel.

The red satellite usually is on when your on OTA channel. However, when you go to a channel that comes from the sat it will go green. This is a minor clitch with one of the new software upgrades.

I also see the red sat light on when I turned off the TV and also put the STB on standby. I guess in this case it means no DVI connection. :yes
