Anyone have any advice about VOOM in Baltimore, MD. I don't know anyone here who has it. Please help!!!!

You will need a clear line of sight to the Rainbow-1 satellite at 61.5 (SouthEast); check out http://www.lyngsat.com/tracker/rain1.html - I am in Virginia and my 18" dish has a signal level of 97; no rain-fade, snow-fade or sleet fade. The only time I have lost signal from the sat is during intense thunderstorms.

I'm in Columbia, MD... Voom works fine for me. I had a nightmare install, and ended up hiring a real professional to do a complete antenna install. I can get all the DC and Baltimore stations (except DC 20). No problems with the Voom satellite signal at all. Quality is 96, and little to no rain fade. During one of the light snow storms, I had some ice accumulate on the dish, and it went out, tho...
