I have not yet installed VOOM, but wondering if the remote is UHF -- if not--does the VOOM box have that option for a UHF remote? Am I able to use any UHF remote RF antenna with it and then use my 4dtv UHF remote?

The remote is not UHF but the receiver is. So your 4dtv remote will work, just put a little antenna on the back where it says uhf.
