Hey guys,
I activated the parental controls on my living room STB a few weeks ago to prevent my visiting 15 year old brother from watching "Busty Cops" or something like that.

ever since then when the show changes and its over the rating locks it will just blank out, once in a while it will come up and say that it needs to be unlocked to watch this program, and you press ok and put in the password,
but most the time just a black screen you have to channel up or down and go back to the channel so it will ask you for the password.

I did a search for parental controls but didn't really find anything.

Any one else having this problem or is it just me?

There is a menu option to remove the PIN altogether, if that's what you are asking about.

No i want to keep the pin but fix the blank screen
