Geez I figured this out the first day I had Voom installed and I had to unplug the STB while I did some re-arranging today.

Now, even though under Voom --> Green --> Green, option 1 Wide to Narrow is set to 'LetterBox' which added the black bars top and bottom before. Now no matter how I set this or the Narrow to Wide setting it 'squishes' the 16x9 picture into 4:3 which looks terrible.

Any pointers? I did a soft re-boot (power button till it bounces) and this didn't help.

The SD TV is connected via the composite outputs if that helps.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

n/m I figured it out.

Kind of silly. Even though it's a 4:3 set on a composite output from the box, it wouldn't let me letterbox the output unless I set the screen resolution to 1080i from 480i.

It's all good now.
