I bought what I thought was an eastern arc 1000.4 dish from ebay but went to hook it up and the LNBF doesn't look like and eastern arc. Complained to the seller and he thinks it's a 1000.2 LNBF. If he were to give me a new LNBF would the arm and refractor be the same??? So far not trusting this guy too much.

It could be a 1000.4 Western arc. If so, all you would need would be the Eastern arc lnb. Does the dish have a silver threaded rod on the back for micro adjustment?

Yes it does have the rod for the elevation adjustment.

Then the dish should be right, you probably just got the WA lnb.
