Unless you have the current national HD release if you decide to do the 0-2-4-6-8 outside of CE hours (like Sunday afternoon) you'll get the old GUI (the blue one)

I'm going to try the CE tonight, hopefully I will get back the Channel Logos that I lost from the older CE I had been running, when I downloaded the CE from 12/16. I also didn't get Pandora from the 12/16 CE.

same here yet no Pandora after the reboot

have pandora here on my hr 24/200 hd dvr receiver but still not on my nr 24/200 hd receiver :)

So far ok - one HR21-100 running 0x595. Other H21-100's and HR21-700 still pending....

I run my H24-200 through Google TV and the old program guide worked (and looked fine). Did the upgrade on this one (and my other two HR20-700's). Looks great on the HR 20's, but the background on the H24-200 is white instead of black. Not sure if it's a DirecTV issue or a Google TV issue. Any other information needed from me to help fix this?

P.S. Pandora is gone for me, too.

You just have to persevere. My H25 is very moody when it comes to CE downloads. I may reboot 2-3 times until it takes,but eventually it will.

It has been doing this for hours. Gets to 94% then sits there for about 20 minutes then starts downloading again and gets to 94% and gets stuck for 20 minutes then starts over again.

Either keep trying or give it a break & try again Saturday Night. My H25 will go up to the teens or maybe just a little higher & my screen turns to snow. I just keep rebooting until it finally takes the new CE or.........(but it has never come to "or..........." yet).

Also,I just sit there & watch it to make sure the CE takes. I almost never leave it alone by itself like my other receivers,because I want to be there to reboot it immediately if it acts up.

I can bypass the Google TV altogether, but it will take some mucking in my component cabinet. Was too late to mess with last night. I'll give it a shot today.

Thats fine, but this way it would tell you if it's the TV or the Google doing it. :)

I had a problem with my H24, it did the same thing. The Background on the guide went bright white last week. I did a reset and it went back to being black again.

No luck with CE this week. Friday night all I could get was to 94% on the CE download over and over. Saturday night tried several times right in the middle of the CE download window but only get the national release.

It sounds like you aren't entering the 02468 quickly enough. You should start it as soon as the front panel lights come back on.

I get the searching for updates screen and it starts the download. Just no luck this week on my H25. The HR24 is working fine. Never had a problem with the H25 in past weeks.

I STILL have no Pandoa or YouTube...:( Also, It's blank under MyDirectv...Double :(

I got Pandora and Youtube on my HR-20 on Friday night, but button presses take a loooooong time to show up on screen. Menu, List, Delete show......long time. Considerably longer than before. The high quality ui is very nice, but if I have to sacrifice this type of speed for my normal functions, I'm not that interested. Should I see this getting any faster soon? Also, is there a faster button combination that would get my to my todo list quickly? It used to be just a few button presses, but not it's more. Thanks all

You can try a Reboot, could speed things up ... typically it takes 24 - 48 hours till it straightens out after a CE speed wise if you have issues, but your pasty that point I think.

As for the To Do list , they took this feature from DISH Network and made it tale more button pushes to get there ... :rolleyes:

I've tried the reboot a couple of times, but the speed is still suffering. Re the todo list, sux!

I received a lovely TV email (under the messages in the info bar) about the new HD guide. Does this mean I have the NR to replace my CE? Either way, I think I have found a bug. When you're scrolling through channels on the guide (either by pressing channel/page down or with the down arrow for one-by-one), it freezes just after Nat Geo Wild. The details at the top are random (they change when you press the button, but not in any sort of order) and nothing is highlighted. It does, however, continue to scroll so you can see what's on, but you have to close the guide and manually type the channel number to tune to the channel. This has been happening for about 3 hours. Thoughts? Yes, I did a reset.

look in the setup menu to see what version you have and when it was installed. Can't say on the rest as I tried to duplicate it and can't.

I had the same issue on two of my DVR's. A reset fixed it.....so far so good.

I had the same issue and did a RBR on X-Mas night...today its back to the same problem

I'm also having this problem. A reset will fix it for a day then same thing. I hope they fix it with the next release.

damn the older SD GUI is starting to look better right now...at least it works ;)

1 out of 3 my machines has the guide issue. A HR21 that is not and can not be connected to the internet unlike the other two HR2X DVRs.

A reset fixed mine , we'll see how long it last.

Didn't need to hook my DVR up to a nother TV. My HR20-700 has also lost the background graphic, and it's hooked directly up to my TV. Everything else appears correctly, but both the guise and my list have pure white backgrounds.
