This film ROCKS! I love Toshiro Mifune, and this is one of his and Kurosawa's classics. I hear that it was one of the films that inspired George Lucas to do Star Wars. Not sure exactly how it relates though. Maybe the two peasants are like the two droids? Not sure...
Great movie though!
...and right after it, you could flip to Zatoichi, the blind swordsman.

Kurosawa is the shizzle, this is one of the MAIN films that inspired GL's Star Wars... I can't believe Voom is scoring these awesome films this week!
