In a nutshell, La Liga is the reason I subscribe to Voom.
From Paul Giblin (WorldSport commentator):
Starting the countdown to the new season....some good signings - Baptista (the Beast) has joined Real Madrid from Sevilla along with Pablo Garcia (from OSasuna) and young Brazilian ace Robinho....
Elsewhere Atletico Madrid have signed well and so have Valencia, who have bought Kluivert and have brought in former Getafe coach Quique Sanchez Flores....should be fun.

Well, I guess these news alone makes VOOM worth the $5/month. :D

I would say for some of us this is worth much more than $5!
You know, some Dish customers are paying $29.95 per weekend or $299 per season to watch select English Premier League games on channel 455/470. And that's in STANDARD definition!...
Spanish League is on par or (arguably) better than EPL and HD makes a lot of difference too! So, you do the math... ;)

According to soccerTV.com Italian league will also be available on Rush channelThis would be really great! However, I haven't heard any confirmation to this yet. I hope this is true...
According to soccerTV.com Italian league will also be available on Rush channelLooks like it's a mistake. I have verified with WorldSportHD/RushHD management, and they have not heard anything about Italian League...
Spanish La Liga games, are coming, though. The first one (Atletico Madrid vs. Zaragoza) is pretty much confirmed, time and date are still pending.

To bad. But I still like the Spanish league best anyway.

Can't wait for the season to start.
I wish WorldsportsHD works out a deal with FSC to show EPL HD match when SkySports and BCC go HD.

What I wouldn't give to ONLY buy the La Liga games from Dish and no other satellite coverage!! I'd pay them $20/month for JUST La Liga-related material on RUSH HD/WorldSport.
Nice to see a skeleton crew still active after VOOM's demise, Ilya. :)

Now that Worldsports is back I will have to sign up for Dish.
When Voom went dark I never got anything else.
