I should be able to tune in the 2nd half of this match. Go Atletico!!!
La Liga Report is on. The live match starts in less than half an hour. Get the beer ready!
(Just watched the Real Madrid - Celta game that I missed last weekend due to CEDIA EXPO. It was a good game and a very controversial ending!)

I already had my beer and waiting for the game... Will watch La Liga Report later on since NE game is very good.
I think I will check the Browns-Packers game after the Atletico-Barcelona game. A lot of great football today! ;)

Great game so far... lots of play attacking the net for both teams... a few blocking video in the beginning of the game.
It came back a few seconds later.

Not really. Though I am on a wireless broadband right now, so it is hard to judge.

Greetings from the hurricane haven. Have been off for a long while, internet and all. Repairs and cleanup from Charlene, Dennis, and Katrina. Looks like depression #18 will go straight to Texas and avoid the northern Gulf Coast this week.
Good game so far, now it's 2-1.
I see timfouts has just joined us online! Hi Tim, how are you doing?
Have you recovered from the huracane Katrina?

Have you recovered from the huracane Katrina? The house survived, more tree damage in my 2 acre woods--during Ivan last year I lost 40 trees-cost me $6,800 to cut down, Dennis on top of my house, 35 more trees and lost my work shop-I did those trees, Katrina destroyed the remaining stuff still stuck up in other trees from Ivan and Dennis, BUT NO structural damage and never lost power or satellite feeds although we endured 75+ mph winds for 10 hours. The video does not do justice the damage in Mississippi and Alabama-only 50 to 75 miles away from me. I was at Andrew in Homestead shortly after, Andrew was big but Katrina dwarf's Andrew.

Just came through the door...2-1 Atletico :) It looks like I missed a match, unlike the previous two I watched.
I hope you recorded it with DVR. This has been an excellent game!
Barca is desperate now! Trying to save the game at the last moment.

Unfortunately, after yesterday's football classics my 942 has once reached capacity and I have to deletes recording and archive to SD. The one thing (only thing for that matter) I miss about Adelphia is they let me rent three low cost HD DVRs so I had a great deal more recording space.
Great final 20 minutes of action BTW.
The final whistle of the game! Atletico wins 2:1!

I have been watching this game in between other match on the othe channels I wish I had the new Dish home so I could have all the game up at the same time.
Dam with Real and Barca loosing on the same day the LaLiga be great to watch has it heats up.
Barca vs Valencia Wendesday :) someone has to pay for the loss today.
It's good that neither Barca, nor Real Madrid got an early lead in the league. This should make it more interesting down the road!

I need to buy a 942 to complement my Directv HD DVR. Maybe when hurricane season is over and I don't have to stockpile 100 gallons of gas to run my generators. At $2.80/gal I could have one after two more hurricanes.
Ok, guys, time to watch the other kind of football. ;)
Don't forget the Barcelona-Valencia game on Wednesday. Should be very interesting! Hope, some of you will be able to watch it live at 3pm. Take a late lunch or get thick, as Paul suggested! :D
As for me, I will have to DVR it, as I will be on a business trip. So long everyone! :)

Grr. Unbelievable.
Was on the road depending on my 942 recording all episodes of Spanish Soccer to let me see the first HD Barca game of the season. I get home, and the only game it recorded was the thrilling Atl. Madrid-Zaragosa replay, which is erroneously labeled as Atl. v. Barca. My 942 didn't record the 12 noon (PT) slot at all, so I missed it.
Anybody else have DVR problems recording this game?
P.S. I did record Espanyol knock off RM 1-0 in a stunner with tons of controversy; great football.

And, memo to Voom: Spanish Soccer is one of your strongest program offerings, and also likely one of your most expensive. Recoup some investment and replay these matches, even in the middle of the night, so us fans can watch or record it. It certainly can't attract fewer viewers than the 1,256th airing of "Minnesota Extreme" or "Red Bull over Cleveland."
