Posted this up on another VOOM board but I think there are more users in this forum so...

I have a box that I know the Parental code for but when I go to remove the code, I get back to the menu which shows no padlock icon anymore. Then as soon as I hit a menu again the lock symbol is there and it is looking for the same old code that I thought I removed.

I have even gone and changed the code to all 0000's and then the next time I go to put the code in, it wants the old one again...

It will let me scan new local channels and even hide unwanted locals (even after a power off and unplug). But the code is like hard-coded into the B!tc#.

Any ideas???
