Rural America-targeted network RFD-TV will launch on Comcast Media Center’s HITS 8 Aug. 14.
RFD-TV “serves the needs and interests of rural America, horse lovers, farmers and ranchers with traditional, family-oriented television programming,” the network said in a prepared statement.
CMC and RFD-TV announced the transport agreement at the National Cable Telecommunications Cooperative’s annual membership meeting in Chicago.
The network is already carried by Mediacom Communications and NCTC cable systems in all 50 states, reaching more than 28 million cable and satellite homes.
