I'm not sure if it is shown on VOOM at the same time as the PBS broadcast, but the season 2 lineup looks awesome:

Here's a partial schedule of airdates:

http://www.ket.org/cgi-plex/watch/series.pl?&id=SOUN

Fleetwood Mac - June 17th

To me, this is some of the better content available, and it's on VOOM! :) :) :) :) :)

We probably won't see these for another 6 months or so on Voom. (my guess). I just hope my local PBS shows this, they are so lame, they go off the air at 11 pm and show Soundstage on the Analog channel at 11 pm.

Gillian Welch is the only artist I'm dying to see in season 2. Unfortunately she has to share the bill with two other lame acts. Lisa Marie Presley? WTF is that all about?

I'd love to see some edgier acts, like PJ Harvey. Way too much of an emphasis on adult contemporary.

It'd be awesome to have MTV Unplugged concerts upconverted to HD and shown on Rave. I'm excited about the new concerts. New content is good content.

I'm certainly NOT a fan of Lisa Marie, but the synopsys does sound interesting:

Singer/songwriter—and daughter of Elvis—Lisa Marie Presley introduces audiences to her debut album, To Whom It May Concern, in an introspective, candid, and compelling performance. Joined onstage by singer/songwriter Shelby Lynne, the two sing a stimulating duet of the Beatles' "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." Other songs reveal the modest, human side of Presley and hint at the weight she has carried as heiress to the family legacy.

Who knows? Might be ok.

I agree. The VH-1 Storytellers would be great, too.

I do not know if the Fleetwood Mac concert will be shown tonight. But it is in the PBS-HD national schedule. Check local listings.

Stevie Nicks sure got fat!!! She used to be such a doll now she's all pigged up! But her voice is still sweet.

...she swapped her cleptomania for an eating disorder? She was notorious for her ailments in the 80's. But you are right, she was a "looker" back then. ;)

From the guide info, it sounds like this Part 1 is the same as the other that's been showing on Rave, does anyone know? I set it to record on my DVD recorder just in case. Anyone know when Part 2 is coming?

I haven't watch the one on Rave but I want to know if this is the same as it was shown on Rave as well. I will be playing today at 8pm EST tonight. I won't be home to watch.

Part 2 is coming next week.

It was not the Rave version, it was specifically for PBS. Cheryl made a comment about it at the start of the show but she also commented on how toned down it would be for the "PBS crowd".

Lisa Marie was on PBS last night, but it was too late for me to stay up so I recorded it, I'll check it out tonight and catch it in HD when it's on Rave.

Caught Lisa Marie Presley ( or, LMFP as it is written on her drummer's kick drum! ) and Peter Wolf last night. I see why they showed Peter Wolf first - I'm not sure anyone would've stuck around to watch him if they had to sit through Lisa Marie's show. I found her performance dull and uninspired. The only song I enjoyed at all was Lights Out. She's just not very talented.
Peter Wolf? Also perhaps not brimming over with singing talent, but he sure tries like hell. Was fun to watch, if only for the energy he brought to the table and his wacky dancing. Not to mention he has a few good songs. I wasn't a fan before seeing this -- now I'd consider paying to see him perform at the right venue/time. He'd sure try to give you your money's worth.

I thought Wolf was awful, plus he looks like a Howard Stern wannabe. I didn't see Lisa Marie since I had to crash before she came on but I recorded it. Brainfart on my above post, I thought it was on the night before, I had just set the recording for it. DOH!

Was able to catch a little bit of the Russell Crowe Soundstage last night during commercial breaks in Without A Trace. PQ and sound were up to the Soundstage standards. Don't really think 30 Odd Foot of Grunts was. They weren't as bad as I was expecting, but if their lead singer wasn't a wildly successful actor we would never have heard of this group.
