[Since there are so few HD providers that have HD PPV channels, I think there would be no problem listing them all in this Forum]

Watch HD movies available for the first time on TV! DISH Network Pay-Per-View offers a variety of HD movies every day.

Customers with HD-capable receivers can tune into Channel 9467 to see movies in HD for only $4.99. You can now order HD PPV movies online!

$4.99 will be appealing once external HDD support is here.

I haven't ordered any ppv in awhile but if and when they put up POTC Deadmans Chest, I'll be first in line...

$4.99 will be appealing once external HDD support is here.

But if the movie is good enough, it's still worthwhile.

Take Casino Royale:

- See it in a re-run theater - generally $8 per person
- Rent it in upconverted 480i (DVD) - generally $3
- Buy it in 480i (DVD) - generally $16

or if you want to see it in HD, it's either $4.99 PPV or $27 for the Blu-ray disk (assuming you have already forked over $600 for a Blu-ray player).
