AZbox Elite Trouble ADVERTS 1
Just received an AZBOX from Rick Caylor yesterday. Hooked it up this morning. Turned it on ---- Nada. And yes I know there is an on/off switch in back of the receiver. Plugged into 2 different power outlets and no boot - nothing. Sent quick email to Rick asking if he tests his receivers before shipping? Is there some arcane feature of the box I am overlooking?

AZbox Elite Trouble Just found problem and solved it. Plugged receiver into wall outlet DIRECTLY rather than into the power strips I tried before. Will email Rick back and explain.

Good to hear. As an electrician, I applaud your fine troubleshooting .

Rick does test the boxes before he ships. Generally he sets up a sat and scans in the channels to check for basic functionality.
My usual problem is hooking the cable to the loop out instead of the tuner input, since they're in the "wrong" positions .
