    No Display on AZBOX

    ADVERTS 1
Just received new AZBOX. Hooked it up, powered on but the Sony says there is no signal and obviously no display. Used the HDMI cable and tried the Video input cables as well. The power light is red. Any ideas?

Click on resolution on the remote and choose the right settings. watch the VFD on the box. What is happening is that the box by factory default sends our PAL but you need NTSC

Did you put it to ntsc? When you click on resolution, you have to select the cable type first, by clicking either left or right arrow. Confirm by clicking ok. Then next you select pal or ntsc by clicking left or right and confirm by clicking ok. Then next select resolution.. I will suggest you try a lower resolution first. All these settings will be displayed on the receiver's vfd screen.

Try a composite cable from the yellow jack on AZbox to your tv. Generally you can always get composite video, and can then setup the way you want it.

Was finally able to get the NTSC changed. Here's what I did. Powered down, and during the boot up process, kept pushing the resolution and left/right arrow buttons, finally iI got something on the Sony (Never on the front of the unit) Went through the settings and set all. When I powered down it would not stay. Repeated the process again (powering down etc), I did the USB Firmware upgrade to 0.9.5006-patch.bin) and the Resolution is holding and can turn it on and off now with no problems> Thank for all of your help, we appreciate it.
