AZ Box Dark Video
ADVERTS 1
I tuned into the Armed Forces Bowl (broadcast info is in the What's Up There area) with the AZ Box Premium Plus and I got dark video and good audio. I hooked up the Quali TV and I have sharp clear video and audio. Does anyone have any idea why the AZ Box will not process the video?
This is a ESPN feed that scans in as PATH 1. The other night I scanned in an ESPN college basketball broadcast and it was also PATH 1 and got the same results as mentioned above. Is this a coindence or not?PROUD NEW YORK YANKEE FAN SINCE 1960

Jim
I've seen other posts with the exact same symptom. All other HD receivers play it fine but the azbox doesn't. This is just some random ESPN feeds so it is probably a coincidence. I've run into that where the azbox wont play it but the Manhattan does. It was a HD feed.
hmmm....thought the azbox played dang near everything....guess notWinegard 76cm dish, SG2100 motor, Sadoun dual KU LNB..... Directv Slimline SWM 3 LNB.... GeoSatPro 36" dish with Sadoun dual KU LNB... Coolsat 5000 on motorized.... Manhattan RS1933....Directv HR34 (yes the 5 tuner monster) GeoSatPro 200 to aim dishes.... few receivers not set up yet

Current hypothesis is that its the encoder the uplink truck uses. The SNF feed is similar. My Dreambox has trouble with it, it glitches every now and again like the signal is too low, but on the same coax at the same time the Azbox or Sathawk/Solomend/Openbox plays it fine.
Ain't this stuff FUN sometimes Bro. Jim?
