Interesting that the 350 totally blew the 3:2, deinterlacing test, yet the BD50 passed them (and others) since people strictly want to go by tests.

I ended up getting a bargain basement price on a BD10 when the BD30 came out and the BD50 was released. Since the BD10 also does analog out (except DTS-MA which I'm fine with) it is a great deal without having to buy a BD50 and I can still keep my receiver. Sweet deal.

The Sony 550 @ 499 will compare more favorably to the Pansonic. For those of you who have BluRay of HDDVD machines the 6 second quick start and the XCross menu guide make the 350 a great unit.
