BHN Orlando Ramps up SDV (Switched Digital Video)

    ADVERTS 1
It seems like they are on schedule to launch in in Sept, (maybe sooner!) which will give BHN a great ability to increase its HD offerings. Some of you might of noticed the last couple days a few HD channels having problems (including HistoryHD) well they were related in a way to the SDV rollout.. SORRY

Sweet! I'm ok with a few hiccups over that! =)

So when SDV is up and running should we expect a few new HD channels every few months, or a very large kaboom of HD's?

Well the first wave is estimated to be between 10-15 new channels then slowly adding them, They already have "basic" agreements with channels like StarzHD and CinemaxHD among a few others

How about a basic agreement for FSN Florida, first?

There do have one. FSN allows them to carry it on the Sports-Tier, and Brighthouse puts it on. That's the argreement. FSN just needs to sign at the bottom. And honestly, keep FSN out of this thread, it has nothing to do with SDV.

Why should FSN be on a sports tier when Sun Sports is not?

Because Sun Sports does not want a massive amount of money for a channel with little interest, compared to other channels at the same price.
