Central Florida wide outage -- Digital Customers

As far as I know it is only causeing issues for customers in the Central Florida Region. Most all digital services are not working.
Just thought id let ya know so you dont waste time calling.

Services have been restored. Some HD channels are still being fixed.
Problem happend when SDV services were moved from the Headend in Orlando to the deland headend (unclear why at the momment) Waiting for news on the resolution.

Ya, my pager went nuts last night. Not that I could have done anything, I was too busy at home puking my guts out. Stupid stomach bug.
Glad they were able to get it fixed. I hear the outage was only for 20 mins. Pretty good response time for such a massive outage.

Seems the root cause was a Fiber cut. When everything tried to switch over to the backups thats when things went really crazy. Some areas switched fine some didnt. When OrlandoHeadend switched to Deland headend (because of the cut) something we astray and it took down deland to in the process.

didn't bother me one bit. I was At oviedo marketplace with my wife watching Zombieland when it all happened.
