what is all the hype on that network? personally i don't think fox ain't all that at all.
i see it this way, it has got to be fox for one reason. if dish/direc tv even fios can afford fox network on their lineup, how da hell can bright house/time warner cannot with their higher prices towards customers, making them of course more money... :/

I do ask and wonder, since they gone thru an agreement. at least with timewarner.
why does timewarner goes thru an agreement that has to do nothing with bright house in itself anyways for bright house to have cut fox if they had to?
is bright house part of timewarner? or vice versa?

TWC/Brighthouse do nothing but re-transmit the signals. Fox corp/Newscorp charges a fee for those re-transmissions. If the deal had not been reached, Fox would have dropped the signal to TWC/Brighthouse and not allowed them to retransmit.
A couple of the channels that were under dispute, was the fact that they were not gonna pay the money for a channel that you and anyone else can pick up off the air for free.
Of course the biggest one everyone was throwing a stink about was the "local" fox. The one that broadcasts the Simpsons, House, Football games, etc. etc. The one channel that can be picked up off air for free.

It just happened to be Time Warner and Brighthouse that had contracts up for renewal first when Fox decided to start playing hardball. Whatever the terms that were reached in the new agreement today will probably determine what others will pay when their contracts expire. I fully expect that when Dish's turn comes around that the Fox O&O stations will go dark for a few days. Charlie likes to engage in theatrics like that, making his case to subscribers on a video loop running on the missing channel. In the past, Dish subs have even gotten a rebate of $1 a month towards their locals subscription for lengthy contract dispute outages. I don't think that would happen in any future disputes since all the current packages include locals.

wow slow down when you type next time..
I think you are asking "Why is brighthouse effected by timewarners contract" Well its becaue TimeWarner and Brighthouse are "one" when it comes to contracts, purchaseing etc. Timewarner does the talking for brighthouse and they join forces to be "one" company when in talks. It helps BHN and TWC by expanding the number of customers on the contract block.

My head is spining trying to read what you type.
Had nothing to do with what the question was, but how it was asked. I had to read it 100 times to figure it out. Much like I had to read the current post a few times to figure it out.
